We're excited to announce our next party lined up for

with special guests:

BEAUTIFUL SWIMMERS (Future Times, DC)

You know when you scoop a record at some flea because the art looks tight, but it turns out that the shit is wack except for some little beautiful chunk? Yea you do. They rescued the good parts from many terrible records that otherwise just would've collected bad vibes on their floors. These guys are trying to bring back something like early Daniel Wang but mix it with heavy boogie visions (''Swimmers Groove'') and all these psuedo-African slow cuts from the 90s everyone loves like ‘Oh Yea.’

These guys have played with Theo Parrish, Dam Funk, Steve Arrington, and Lovefingers, to name a few. They played an amazing set to a crowded dancefloor at Donuts/No Way Back/As You Like It with Mike Huckaby & Steffi at Public Works in August 2011.

Their love of disco, house and all electronic music encouraged them to start a record label—Future Times. The label was featured in the Fader  & Juno Top 10 of 2011, and also featured as Resident Advisor’s Label of the Month.

SAPPHIRE SLOWS (100% Silk-Tokyo, Japan)

First time in the U.S. & first San Francisco show! Not Not Fun's Amanda Brown insists she saves the straight-up dance music for her 100% Silk sublabel, but True Breath, the first widely-released record by Tokyo's Sapphire Slows, seems to have fallen through the cracks. Not that it really matters—her style of introspective house is hardly the kind of thing you'd want airbrushed for the dance floor. Sapphire Slows trades in slinky, drifting mood music, smothering dance motifs in waves of vocal echo and synth smudge. We are truly excited to feature a debut U.S. performance for the newest addition to the 100% Silk label!
